Airsoft shotguns primarily fall into two categories:, models that feed BBs from a tube and those that use gas to propel BBs from shells. This GE 8879 shotgun is based on the Winchester M870 design, and it falls into the first category.
This shotgun has a shorter barrel than the standard length, making it better for close-quarters encounters. However, it also only holds three shells, which necessitates more frequent reloading. Even so, the 10 BBs in each shell tend to deal lots of damage to opponents.
At the top of the receiver is a tactical rail, perfect for short-range optics. Red dot sights are an excellent choice, as are holographic sights.
The pistol grip holds the green gas propellant, and you can refill it with a canister quickly.
When you pump the shotgun, it ejects the shells, in a similar way to the pump-action operating system. You can also remove unfired shells to clear the weapon.
