The VFC Avalon URGI Carbine being part of the VFC Avalon Premium line, is upgraded out of the box. Externally it has ambidextrous controls, the MK16 style M-LOK handguard, and the overall URG-I styling. Internally though is where this airsoft gun truly shines!

Internally, the VFC Avalon URGI Carbine has the VFC ECS gearbox with the GATE ASTER system installed. In turn, this instantly makes this AEG one of the top AEGs out of the box. GATE ASTER features programmable electronics, like a trigger proximity sensor that allows you to fine-tune 250 trigger sensitivity settings, a binary trigger function as a basic setup, an optical gear cam sensor that supports all types of gears, and allows you to program the guns firing mode from semi/full auto to semi/burst for example. Adding to this impressive list, the Avalon URGI Carbine comes standard with Maple Leaf internals such as the hop-up bucking and a precision inner barrel allowing for your groupings to be tighter and have an extended range capability. Lastly, the Avalon URGI Carbine comes Deans (T-Plugs) ready.
